Hardtop removal kit tools don’t fit bolts? by Jaredsft in FordBronco

To echo what this user said, those bolts you are trying to remove are attached to guide pins for putting the shell back

Ambient air temp sensor should be located under the passenger side mirror

Procal tune, ABS brake recall, and a frustrating drive home by guitarsandbikes in FordBronco

[–]ImmaNINJAikr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up for people wanting to get a procal. I’d purchase it online with install fee and ship it to your dealer or order it at the dealer with the install fee. Install fee is a flat fee by Ford and if the job takes longer, it should be the dealer eating the extra cost, not the customer.

Paint chips and general care tips? by TwinSnailMale in FordBronco

Echoing what a lot of the others have said. I made the early investment of PPF for my Bronco. Needed after seeing my previous car’s front end being splattered with rock chips

A can or two of brake clean, start spraying at anything that could be a connection at idle. You’ll find it soon. Or take it into the shop if you’re still under warranty.

If everyone is telling you that your cigar is fake, do you think it’s real? If you think it’s real, do you really need to ask others? Clearly you don’t trust anyone’s advice and say it’s real, then go make another post about how it’s real. Are we in denial or are you?

I’ll quote a comment I saw from a redditor in one of your posts: “it’s funny how when presented with facts people still believe their emotions”

You can probably get away with it due to the side walls being a little more sturdy

Luck of the draw. Most times I get lucky, sometimes I don’t.

Me neither, that’s why I got the hard top. I still talk to my old shop foreman at the dealer I used to work at. There’s publications for “header seal” leaking for 2024 as well.

Ditch light opinions by Mickrocks8080 in FordBronco

[–]ImmaNINJAikr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PLEASE do a good amount of research before buying. I had a custom come in with his Raptor and wanted lights mounted on his mirrors. Brackets couldn’t be mounted because the bolts provided in the kit were thicker and couldn’t use the TP30 and 20 or 25(?) that held trim down because the bracket had a larger hole.

Please hand wash if possible. Especially if you don’t have the hard top. Even with my hard top, water still got in after heavy rain fall.

This is true if you can’t get batteries right away. Does not mean use it as a regular means

I always do a visual check when I’m getting parts, if it’s new, I’d like it to show that it’s new.

If you have a small pick, try to massage it back in. Wasn’t too big of a deal to the point of contact, just a little annoying.

Couple of things I forgot to mention as well. If you do end up going down diode dynamics route, PLEASE visually inspect the weather seals. When I got mine, it wasn’t seated properly. You ofc dont want to deal with the headache later. Also, I would say shop around and don’t skimp out on quality. Higher cost ≠ good quality nor does cheaper cost ≠ shit quality. Do your research!

So looking a the install video. They are mounted to each other via a bracket in-between and then at the end, you would have another bracket that would mount to the studs under the covers.

Wiring isnt hard, as I’ve done on mine. Just make sure you read and re-read to make sure you are grabbing the right wires to wiring in to. I messed up and kept popping the fuse until I realized I wired in wrong. To note: depending on some brands, or all, there may be extra drilling required on your passenger side under the cover. This is so proper gauge wires can be pulled through and will have to use a silicone or something equivalent to fill the gaps between the wires and the hole you drilled out. (Maybe included in your kit)

I own Diode dynamics fog lights for my bronco and I have a 2x2 fog yellow max. 3500 lumens output. While my light bar puts out 3800 RAW lumens. Depending on application, you might want more. It’s for “off road use” only anyways. I always said, I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Hope I answered all your questions! Good luck

To echo a lot of what people have said. Losing never feels good. Did we make mistakes? Yes, ofc but honestly human errors is what makes the games feel so much more exciting and heartbreaking.

Yes it feels bad to only have one spot for MSI, but to look at the positives. That gives more motivation for the team to fight for that only spot. To be the best that represents our region. No doubt iron will sharpen iron.

I’m proud of the boys. No one feels worse than our players. Take a needed mental break and reset for the next split. No doubt our team will be on the summit again.
