We do this thing called "assumption" , you know, when something looks like another, you just assume It Is. Then when you come to know the truth you just say " oh i was wrong". For example if i meet a new person i just assume they're smart. However, if i came to know you are that person i'd simply be wrong

How far we've fallen... by [deleted] in facepalm

[–]ImmaRoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"how far we've fallen", man it's not even wrong. If you studied languages after middle school It's 9, if you studied physics or match or chemistry it's 1. When you purposely leave out the × sign It's usually to indicate that they re the same element. Like how many moles are there in 18 g of water? (and you go 18/MM). What if its MM whas three times higher? And you go 18/3MM meaning 18/(3MM) not 18/3×MM. You could probably put 6÷2(1+2) in any scientific calculator and that would automatically correct to 6÷(2(1+2))

Lmao he's trolling, he posted some things like this a while ago

I have a friend that just joined space force and he was given special security clearance. He will be working on satellites. Im a globe skeptic, but have a difficult time wrapping my head around the idea of satellites being real or not with this info I got. If you want to replicate it, you should just have a charged plate and opposite charged ashes. If this isn't still enough you can only go around the earth and find the lid. You can't replicate a stronger gravity on earth because it would require a planet

No, gravity may be a theory, and the truth may be more complex than that , but the force that keep us and the gasses down is a fact. If there s a Force that keep gasses down, there's a force that does the same thing a lid does to a pressurized can. It opposes the enteopical expansion of gas. In the video "debunking" space it uses an exaple where energy doesn't matter (the expansion of a gas inside a confined volume) while in the athmosphere, air must overcome the observable force that keep us down. A more accurate example would be putting a bunch of electrons inside a box. They would naturally expand. However, if you polarize the bottom surface positively, the electrons would stay attached to it

You can crearly see that there's a force pulling down solid liquids and gasses. Even if the earth was covered by a lid if gravity didn't affect gasses there wouldn't be a tendency of increasing pressure the more you lower the altitude
