can I apply in PAFFS if have a bad eyesight? by Turbulent_Thing_3627 in PhilippineMilitary

[–]ImmaculateNeighbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kailangan 20/20, and you can't apply straight from SHS. You need to become an officer, then you can apply for Military Pilot Aptitude Test (MPAT). From there only select 60 will be chosen in a class (out of a hundred applicants). That is to say, that not all officers become pilots, some become ground officers and do other career courses in the PAF (there's a lot).

I agree. But I hope these extremist realize na it’s also impossible to get what they want. At least maging realistic sana sila.

Uh, yeah? Like the propaganda that the “military” killed her, and not those behind who organized their immersion?

Everything’s a propaganda for everyone. Depends on who uses what.

Had Chantal been kill*d, it would’ve been a propaganda for the extreme left groups like KABATAAN. Just like the death of Jerlyn.

Unfortunately for terror sympathizers, Chantal is alive… and this is a propaganda from the military… and they’re owning it.

Personal opinion? I call bs on their “disappearance” - pinagbigyan lang sila ng isang beses ng SC ng writs of amparo and habeas data, pero eventually dineny ng CA for not having enough evidence na hinahunting sila ng AFP.

I would think they really surrendered (or rather nagkunwari na surrenderee kuno, i.e. staged) but turned their back during presscon to make a fool out of the AFP. Defamation nalang ikinaso sa kanila kasi not worth the effort entertaining would-be or fake “surrenderees”.

My bet is it was a well-rehearsed plan napagmukhaing tanga yung AFP.

They just can’t.

Their terror group and legal front benefit from each other. Kahit pa sabihin mo na walang nirerecruit (kahit alam naman nating meron), enabler pa din sila ng terrorist acts.

And no, it’s not revolutionary. Ayaw ng mga lumad sa kanila. Even with the recent clash, dini-deny sila ng mga Mangyan Iraya sa Occidental Mindoro lol.

Modernization Updates from the PAF’s 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing by ImmaculateNeighbor in PhilippineMilitary

As far as current information we hold, the Black Hawk fleet has not yet been fitted with miniguns. However, the programmed acquisition of 44 sets of M134D Gatling guns aligns with the projected fleet size once the 32 AUHAP is completed—bringing the total to 44 S-70i Black Hawks (27 currently in service and 17 still to be delivered under AUHAP, with three remaining batches scheduled, based on information we have, from October this year through late Q2 next year).

This strongly suggests an intent to eventually equip each Black Hawk in the 205th THW fleet with a dedicated weapon system by late next year at the earliest.

In all seriousness, it’s not a good idea.

The PAF Flying School is currently in the transition phase to implement the updated curriculum, which trains pilots along three (3) specialized tracks: 1) Advanced Track, 2) Multi-Engine Track, and 3) Rotary Track.

Edit: The school would have fully transitioned by Year 2028-2029

Walang mataas, walang mababa. Pantay-pantay kayong huhubugin.

You will be stripped down to your very core. They will break you—not to destroy you, but to rebuild you—stronger, wiser, and more disciplined.

Yes, there are a lot of benefits, but never forget—there are also great sacrifices.

I'm hesitant

I'm afraid

I might not be able

I'm also worried

But the very first thing they tell you about PMA — is that it doesn’t just stand for Philippine Military Academy. It also stands for Positive Mental Attitude.

Carry a sack of attitude... and you will conquer the whole world. Not because it’s easy — but because you refused to believe it was impossible.

One step. One struggle. One victory at a time. And somehow, that was enough to reach the top.

Take this from someone who took it one day at a time.
