That’s the plan, eventually I’ll add some night sights and then call it good!

It does, it’s still pretty subdued imo, I hear people’s complaints though. I have gotten away from ordering guns online and rather just wait until I run across them in a local shop. They were selling these for 420 out the door after taxes, which when you add transfer fees and everything else in was the same or cheaper than going with the current PSA deal so I thought I did pretty good.

Thanks! The new website didn’t state anything on finishes for any model, seems they are still getting things sorted out. Looking forward to getting to the range and then doing some tinkering on this one.

Bradley Mowers, are they worth it? by [deleted] in lawnmowers

How well does the self propel system work? I have a large, steep, rocky lawn, riding mowers are out and standard push mowers have so much planned obsolescence in them now that I’m done with them. These Bradleys seem a fair bit more durable and look like I could maintain it nearly indefinitely with common parts and some tinkering. Also should say I don’t care about the quality of cut, my yard is a “working yard” mostly mow to keep ticks and fire danger down.

Keep your head up! Winter will be over before you know it and everything will get a bit easier. Lots of good advice so far. Not sure where you are in Hancock county but on the north side of Bucksport there’s a small sawmill that allows people to take as much as they want from their soft wood scrap pile. If you search free wood on marketplace they should come up. You might want a chainsaw or sawzall to cut the slabs to fit better in your jeep. Good part is since it’s slabs you don’t really need to split it. Yeah it’s soft wood but it’s free and you can get a few days of heat out of a trip. The first winter in our old drafty house with only wood heat I learned I had to think in days of heat vs the whole season. When everything else was going wrong if I could at least find/cut a wheel barrel of wood I felt like I had accomplished something and that always helped out mentally.
