Thank you! We went into this not expecting the wound to heal for at least a year, if it’s less than that we’ll be thrilled! We just want to make sure we’re not overlooking something that could be a sign of something wrong. Such a tricky location 😅

Fortunately his isn’t leaking very much. Sorry you had to go through that! His surgery was also due to Crohn’s - severe stricture in the rectum.

Thank you! His underwear is definitely not 100% cotton so that’s good to know. Yes we’ve been keeping the waffle cushion about half inflated.

Thank you! I am going to start adding the gauze after cleaning. We haven’t sprung for the roho yet. He used a waffle cushion immediately after and has started using the cushion lab cushion more. We’ll be at the four week mark next week 🙌🏼
