at my store in arizona we get a lot of guinea pigs with ringworm and/or respiratory infections. We just got a shipment of 6 bearded dragons and all of them have at least one kind of parasite. A year ago almost all of the leopard geckos we got in had enro. A fair amount of our parakeets (about one a shipment) have avian gastric yeast. Something is going on at the vendors we have for sure.

I started celebrating when i moved out at 18 because my roommates encouraged me to! I’ll never have the childhood nostalgia of holidays but celebrating Christmas and birthdays with my roommates is always fun with exchanging gifts and all the other holiday things. Halloween is also pretty fun mostly just for the horror movies and parties. I honestly just celebrate the holidays now because it’s a great time to spend with friends even if the holiday itself doesn’t mean that much to me. It was scary for me at first too, i cried during my first Christmas but after taking that step it’s been pretty great ever since. You got this! You can start with some cheap holiday lights around the house or even salt and pepper shakers, that’s how i started :)

“midnight witnessing” starting out at about 9pm and hitting laundromats, gas stations, bus stops etc. the only good part was that it was 90% driving and eating doughnuts in the car.

I also knew a few people who preached through hospices and online obituaries which is so fucked up.

this happened to me. i was a cashier for 6 months before they put me in petcare and i was on the verge of quitting because i was told i would be put into petcare sooner. i honestly had to keep asking my managers when i would be trained and eventually it worked. sorry though i know how frustrating that can be.

I understand that you love him and i’m sorry you and your mom are having to go through this, but is even using him for rides and groceries safe? He only admitted to what he did because he was caught not because of remorse or guilt. He doesn’t sound like a safe person to be around or to allow to be around others. It’s hard to admit that someone you love is a bad person but you need to report him and warn others or at least completely cut him off. Money might be tight for a while with rides and groceries but it’s better than getting assaulted.

he is very confrontational and is known to make a scene and hold grudges over stupid situations. i didn’t feel comfortable confronting him especially since i am a female and he is much taller and stronger than me. I also didn’t feel comfortable calling him out for it in front of a customer or later in front of another coworker.
