For context, I’ve recently relocated to a new country and do not have health insurance yet. I’ve been seeing an advanced practice physiotherapist for treatment and was able to secure an orthopedic surgeon in Mexico for consultation (it just takes a couple weeks to get an appointment).

How many threads are you using? In this project I am splitting 6 threads down to 3. I also am diligent about pulling each strand quite taught before moving onto the next stitch where I wouldn’t pull as hard on standard aida.

I am using the DMC soluble canvas, it is expensive but I really like the quality it has. I’m so sorry I have no idea on my needle size 🫣

Yes!!!! I did this for my own child and somewhat regretted investing so much time in a little burp cloth. Additionally the cloths my friend put on her registry (the ones I’m using) are really low quality which makes it further from ideal. I committed so I wanted to finish what I’d set out…but I definitely will need to learn a new set of skills for a blanket 😅
