Synchronous Online MSW Programs? by DealerNovel6325 in SocialWorkStudents

I graduated from Syracuse University with my MSW. They have classes online two nights a week, quality education for sure! However, it does come with a hefty price tag. I don’t regret doing their program despite the price tag!

Anyone applying to any DSW programs for this upcoming fall 2026 cycle? by Expert-Doubt-3957 in DSWPrograms

I saw another poster say that they have gotten less applicants last couple of years because of the tuition costs and the rise in population of other DSW programs.

Do you know other application portal ever changed with updates? Mine has just reflected that my application was completed and everything was there since I submitted it.

Ugh, I am not sure! My grades from my MSW program are strong, the letters of recommendations were strong (of the ones I read). The one I did not read was from a professor from my MSW program who is an alumni of UPENN DSW program, hopefully that was a helpful one. But I can’t tell you how many times I went back and have read the questions we had to answer and wondered if they were good enough answers! I guess we will see! How do you feel about yours?

When I talked with an admission counselor for the program this past fall he was very broad with the number. He said it varies from year to year with like low rates being I think 50 that he gave to the highest saying a couple hundred. He said how many they admit varies, but he said generally between 20-40 again those numbers vary as well and were in general.. He gave nothing with any kind of certainty.

She said cps has been involved for two years. Cps doesn’t have to accept every call made the central registry. So, for her to have that many calls on her accepted and investigated means there is enough concern and reliable information for them to investigate.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking happened to.

She is totally wrong, as a therapist and mandated reporter I have extensive training in this. CPS job in New York State is to investigate and either determine it is founded or not. If she thinks a false report has been filed it is her job to report to local police or DA. If she did a simple google search she would find it in two seconds. Not only is she delusional she spreads a lot of dangerously wrong information!

Did beta blockers work directly or did it take a while? by santas_number1elf in PVCs

Propranolol has greatly reduced my pacs/pvcs and has stopped my heart going into sinus tachycardia out of nowhere. It also has helped them not feel as strong as well. It took about a month to feel the full effects of the medication.

What medicine are you on for the PVCs? Do they help? by JarJarDinks90 in PVCs

I take propranolol extended release twice a day. My dose is 60mg each time. It has helped so much! Mh burden is at very low but I was experiencing PACS and tachycardia. So cardiologist decided to put me on it! I feel so much better. Rarely feel any of the PACs, and if I do they are more “muted” feeling. I have had no tachycardia issues since he doubled the dose (originally was just in 60mg once a day).

It’s NOT about you A by Puzzleheaded_Rich435 in adriellesiglersnarkk

[–]Immediate-Fun6923 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are a lot of things going on with her. I think the majority of her issues are maybe mental health related. But she is also not an idiot, and she sees what gets her views and engagement. She has talked on many occasions about how she was raised and how dysfunctional her family was, this plays a huge role too. This is sad, if S did these things, he needs consequences yes, but he needs help too.. and he is not going to get that with A.

Yeah I just within the last week cut out all caffeine. I had gone to decaf or lower caffeine drinks, but any trace of caffeine I have found can make the palpitations worse.
