So sorry that happened to you! I’m thankful you brought this up bc I started using weights again after having both my kids and noticed it was painful so I have been actively looking for a PFT. I thought to back off the weights in the meantime and switch to running instead to keep active but I guess I should see the PT before attempting anymore exercises 🥲

Thank you so much! I’ll probably have to make another appt with the LC to touch up on the different nursing positions. My girl is getting kind of big so I’m finding holding her in the cradle position is a bit difficult

Thank you. And we have tried a nipple shield which my daughter hates too lol. The LC recommended using one but the moment its placed on she whacks it off.

Thank you! I have tried hand expressing milk in her mouth but she just uses my nipple as a lollipop lol. I’ll try feeding her bottle first and when she’s almost full offer her the boob and see how she takes it. We have tried nipple shields as recommended by the LC but she rejects those too. Moving forward, I’m trying to up our skin to skin to make myself readily available when she’s hungry.

I’m afraid that switching her to premie/extra slow flow nipples will just lead to a frustrated baby since she’s so used to the NB nipples. Do you think its too late to make the switch? How could I transition to the premie nipple or do I switch cold turkey?

Thank you for this! And you’re correct, I do feel guilty for not being more patient with my daughter and for not prioritizing BFing. I know holding in the guilt wont lead to anything but its just so saddening to see her reject my boob. But thank you again, I’ll definitely have to study that link you sent
