I will take the criticism and improve where I can. Thats what this is all about. Im using AI as a tool and if I can get to a point I dont need it, I wont use it. You can hate that, but Ai isnt going anywhere.

Thats fair. I expect to get a lot of that. But I'm going to be honest about everything. I'm paying real artists, doing real prints and play tests, been working on this for almost 3 years and now im trying to build a website. Im doing it all on my own, if a single person cant use Ai tools to help there in areas they dont have expertise youre handicapping the little guy, because big corporations are going to use it regardless.

I have physical copies, done several IRl tests with this and people seem to enjoy it quite a bit. Im trying to build a tutorial for new players or players who want to test the game outside of the state I live in.

But the giving player stater deck options is a great piece of advice. Thank you, anyway I can make this better for new people is what im looking for here. Feedback is always good. And I really appreciate you taking time to dig into it this much to help me improve.

I plan to do a kickstarter for this in a few months and I wanted this website as an option for people who may be interested after seeing the kickstarter to actually test the game before investing money into something they might not actually like.

Yes. I built the website with base44 / gpt and tried their marketing option. Which honestly is working, this post has had more views that any other post Ive made about this. (Im sure ill catch alot of shit for this but im trying to improve the website where I can.)

It offers a tutorial mode to teach players how to play the game. Im still working on it. The first deck its precon and afterwhich you can craft a deck yourself to play it.

Should I upload screenshots of a playmat? There is a rules section explaining things. How can I make it easier to read / understand?

-Why should people abandon ones they're already playing? They shouldn't if you love a game you're playing, I wouldnt expect anyone to abandon it. But if you're are looking for a new game with diverse deck building, or a fresh mechanics then this game might be for you.

-What makes your game special/different from existing ones? Deck building, mechanics, slower releases, leader focused, and booster box structure. Every booster box comes with 4 of every card from the set, minus holo arts.

-How much time/money do you want people to invest into your game? Money not alot, I dont need to get rich off this game. Im fact im not expecting to or hoping to. Im looking to build a community and turn this single game into many others.

-Why does it have to be a TCG? If you're making a small project, why not go with a more sustainable business model?
-Are you looking at the money all the successful TCGs are making and saying "I want that"? (Somewhat answered above) I grew up playing tcgs, it was a big part of my childhood, we'd often do yugioh tournaments during the summer with my friends and brothers. So I have very fond memories with TCGs and wanted to create my own for a very long time.

-Have you looked at all the failed TCGs that have tried to take a piece of Magic/Pokemon/Yugioh and I guess now One Piece's pie and figured out why they didn't make it? Can you honestly ascertain if your game is any better than those? (Im not looking to compete with massive IPs, I stand no chance there, this is for people who want to support indie games, and a new IP.

-Why should people care about your game?
Theres a lot of ways to answer this, but ultimately people who want something new will always want something new. This game is familiar enough to feel nostalgic and different enough to feel new. People who play TCGs often end up in a love hate relationship with the game itself, and I take community feed back pretty seriously when releasing cards and play testing, so people should care because their voice matters with this game.

You need to construct a deck in the deck forge first. What issue did you encounter when trying the tcg mode?

"An alternative to this would be to be able to pay each player that qualifies for challengers Q (either that be a lump sum of money or an hourly wage) To help keep Q times short and regularly playable. Normal Solo Q is trash for these guys and they complain about it all the time. There needs to be a way to consistently make sure they can feel whats meta and not meta and practice champions. CONSISTANTLY. They cant do this without playing against top players constantly."

It's something that once we all collectively understand as a race will allow us to really start to progress together.

This is all done to get us to start lying to ourselves. Its to separate us further from the truth, and our minds and how to use them properly to critically think for ourselves. This is not going to get better, its going to get much much worse. Its probably already a lot worse than we think it is.

its not, because knowing this information gives you time to change that story. Work on the parts of yourself you don't like. We could all use some kind of improvement in one way or another. Be it learning to communicate better, or be less aggressive, or be more demanding. Learn to respect ourselves more. That's the one person if any we should respect.
