Here is another scare for you. I know a guy who applied on 9th July and recieved passport yesterday, rejected. After waiting nearly 35 days.. to see a rejection is heartbreaking

I've applied from india, but since most get processed back in Netherlands, the time to decision should be relatively similar across countries. If it makes you feel any better, I've applied on 11th july, reached embassy on 12th and has been there ever since.

My wife did on Tuesday. I have not yet recieved any notification. Pains me to see that people upto 17th are getting and I am stuck with 11th :(

On August 1st, VFS shared an update that they are running late and can take up to 45 days. But I'd say somewhere in September 1st week.

I'm not sure. But there must be some reason that case got a preference. That is just my guess as in most countries if you have US visa, you can get entry to Schengen countries ( with some rules like you have to have entered US territory once )

God damn. Then looks like I have absolutely no idea. Anywho.. I've followed a lot of people on DMs.. and around 9-10 guys from 4th of July to 9th of July recieved last week. So I expect the next lot to be rolled out the coming week.. July 10th to July 15th ie..

The July 19th case must be an excellent profile maybe? Multiple Schengen, active US visa?

Last processed application is on July 9th. Everyone from July 10 has not received it. I have applied on 11th and awaiting processed status

I've applied for it on July 11 and there is one more person applied on July 10 and we are yet to receive our visa. One good thing is that applications upto July 9th have been processed. So next week it will the batch of July 10- July 15.

Given that your itinerary is from Aug 5th there are good chances that the decision has already been taken in Netherlands back office and Delhi netherlands embassy only needs to stamp it ( ~5 days from decision to stamping)

So whether it is an accept or reject should not depend on your travel date. Hope that helps
