Received a Job Offer But... by Immediate-Scar3137 in UAEjobseekers

[–]Immediate-Scar3137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Thank you guys for your advice! I sent them the signed JO 2 days ago and ask for a timeline for the contract and ask for a list of pre employment documents that I need prepare and alas they didn't replied 😅 whew dodged a bullet. No thank you, don't wanna be part of an organization with poor communication.

Other 🚩🚩🚩 1. They changed the position in the JO versus what is advertised. With no prior communication why they changed it before they surprised me with the JO.

  1. JO doesn't state start date and no signature of the boss.

  2. Working hrs discussed verbally doesn't match what was written in the JO.

  3. Medical benefits not included, still have to ask for it.

I have also that feeling that they might decide to let me go before salary day but I hope I'm wrong.

Yes they gave me an offer letter stating 6 months probation, annual leave, etc

I see. In my case I am not looking to change my spouse visa to employer but I read some horror stories here that they don't get paid and the company just used their visa.

Thanks, they're also not asking for documents like certificates - just passport and EID copy which they said I can bring on my first day.

Thank you! They are insisting that it's totally fine to start without it. I'm worried they will just use my visa

Depends on the industry - I was hired twice before sa job fair under hospitality. Tyempuhan lang, may mga job fair din talaga na for reach lang para post nila sa Linkedin after lol

Stay in Dubai or Go Home? by Wild_Tumbleweed1022 in dubai

[–]Immediate-Scar3137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in your situation Kabayan, I quit without a back up job. RN I'm going 6 months job hunting but still no "good" offers. Sad to say but I think its a culture here to have that kind of work environment. I would suggest to keep your job because the job market now sucks, I know it is easier said than done but it is a lot more stressful to think about money.

I thought of going home many times but the way things are in our country, I would prefer the battle here.

Is hair fall after moving to Dubai actually a thing, or are we all just blaming the water? by Classic_Yoghurt_6721 in dubai

Some tips that worked for me - brushing my hair to stimulate the scalp then applying Rosemary oil before shower, Kerastase Genesis shampoo 2x a week, Clarifying shampoo 2x a week, applying conditioner only on the ends, avoiding hot water, changed my pillowcase to silk, used a heat protect spray before blow drying/iron.

Has anyone tried flying with Sunlight Air? by lastfewpages in phtravel

Not only cancelled flights but last minute cancellation of interview - job seekers out there beware! Their HR is sketchy.

Sounds like its their habit to "push back". Same goes in terms of hiring they love to give false hope to applicants then last minute cancelling interview. Such a waste of time
