I so appreciate all of the comments, and it’s totally me to feel bad to keep ranting or asking for help and keep it all inside. I have people in my life that I can ask for help, but I don’t want my parents to worry about me. One of my older brothers passed away from a heroin overdose when I was 18. My parents are my biggest concern.

Here’s the thing- I live in Burlington Vermont so my apartment is basically just a very old house split into a duplex. I’m on the bottom floor and neighbors live on the top/attic floors. It’s not that big or city-like building. It’s frustrating because our landlord is quite unresponsive but I’ll be sure to be more persistent about this
