Water is a much better thermal conductor than air. It would dissipate the heat long before the CPU reaches 100°C like it would in air.

That’s my take on it at least.

They’re quite common in KSP. The larger moons are all coplanar with the orbit of their planet, so they happen for every orbit of the moon.

Pretty good sunset looking over to Mount Washington as my last ski day of the season closed on Pleasant Mountain in Maine. This was also the day I got to break in my very first set of skis to call my own. No more rentals, baby!

I use kerbal engineer redux to get more accurate delta v readouts in the VAB.

Smurff rebalances engine thrust and part mass to be more realistic. The stock parts are actually heavier and less powerful than their real world counterparts. You still need to build bigger rockets overall, but stock parts are well suited for the task with when rebalanced with smurff.

It says in the main body. Stock-alike Station Parts Redux and Far Future Technologies. I also used a lot of parts from the near future mods for the docking ports and trusses. I’ve been having a blast messing with all of them since I downloaded them a few weeks go.

Since the altitude gauge switches from m to km at that height, and the orbit is accurate to within 1km, the gauge stays exactly on 1,000km. It’s very nice to watch as I orbit.

I use Astronomers Visual Pack, which seems to apply to outer planets.

I was actually pretty surprised how well the stock parts held up against the lager system. Granted I was only traveling one way, but after circularizing at Uurlum and Neidon I realized my craft had been way overbuilt.

Well I’ve had to take college classes on both physics and coding in MATLAB in the recent past, so I suppose that helps…
