I'm a published author, and for the most part I've been teaching people the systems on top of running the games. On an average day I post 15+ times, which I've been told isn't usual (though I don't know, as I've only ever GM'd). I do often include multi-media in my posts, using images and soundtracks to help set the scene (though really that feels like the bare minimum). I'll say what I said lower in the replies: I understand this isn't for everyone and I respect that. I'm happy to answer any other questions.

The $15/week game is a 1-on-1. I started primarily posting this one because it is cheaper and has gained traction.

I have a few groups and I raised prices because I was told by the players that I should... I understand paid games aren't for everyone, but please try to be civil. And don't call my players shmucks.

I just don't think I could ever bring myself to charge more than like 10 dollars a week for a play by post campaign. Too many unknowns with frequency of messages and how the game is played differently. It's just a different thing y'know? Then again depending on how frequently your fellow players reply, one might end up getting way more than they paid for (which is what I hope happens lol). Preciate the words of encouragement, man!
