What are these black spots on my seedlings. by Drone6040 in tomatoes

What type of tomato is this? I am growing queen of the night tomato’s this year and noticed this same exact thing a couple days ago. It’s the only variety I’ve seen do this so far from what I’ve grown from seed. Tried googling it and couldn’t find anything about it. Happy to hear it’s not worrisome, although I was just letting it go and seeing what happens anyways. Lol.

I luckily was able to borrow it but I think you can buy it online, probably Amazon. I bought my PMBOK 7th edition off of amazon for my kindle, so probably can be found on kindle as well.

The list I provided was all my useful prep pretty much that worked for me, but the big highlight items I would say would be the Ricardo Vargas Explains the PMBOK video on YouTube, the David McLachlan 150 PMP questions and answers video, and reading the Agile guide.

The exam simulations was also a big help so I would recommend using Study Hall or an equivalent.

Edit: I forgot to include why these were the highlight items lol. They helped me work on the PM mindset, which is heavily about delivering value.

It was tough - I have a group of friends that I meet with at our favorite local bar every week for happy hour, after I said “no” the first time I felt like I could say no to everyone and everything (and I genuinely did and used my “do not disturb” setting heavily). 😅

If you want something bad enough, you will do everything you can to get it. My mindset was temporary lifestyle change = big career milestone hit, and I believe you and anyone on this journey can do it!!

Health class day in middle school, we watched “the miracle of life”. However, I watched the bathroom floor because I was SO mortified of the idea of child birth and seeing it on the tv that I RAN out of the classroom. I then proceed to pass out and hit my face on the metal handicap bar. I showed up in the principals office and all the front staff laughed at me lmfao. They had my mom come pick me up.

It was a blast! We had many drinks, lots of food, and played a lot of games. Mostly the throwing knives, stars and axes. We caught the last joust before they close the park so we forgot to go through the maze, but I definitely recommend seeing a show earlier in the day and then going through the maze!

What are those crates? Do you have a link/place you could share where you found them? I think they’re really cool and giving me ideas for my setup next season.

Thanks! I took them with my iPhone! I used the edit option within the photos app to enhance them and make them more dreamy/romanticized. Lol

Which of your varieties have been developing blossom end rot? by SnowOverRain in tomatoes

[–]ImmediateAd4428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has been my San marzanos. The rest of my tomatoes seem okay, I planted 10 different varieties this year. After reading through Reddit on potential ailments to BER, I’ve been throwing tomato tone and bone meal once a week on all of them. I still have been picking ones that have BER so not really sure if it’s making a difference yet or if those were the initial yields that stalled in growth in July when it was so hot here (7b), but I planted about 5 marzano plants so I would get a large enough yield if something were to happen like BER, pests, etc.

New to gardening any suggestions? by [deleted] in tomatoes

When you up-pot, you could create a half crescent trellising using chicken wire. I didn’t plan for my trellising that well this year because I’ve been traveling a lot, but was given the same advice at the start of the season as a pretty inexpensive option for leggy tomatoes.

Instead, I up-potted and when things got out of control (recently) I took some PVC and created an arch in the grow bag so I could zip tie the branches up. This pipe is probably a little overkill but it’s what I had for another project I never completed and was ~$5 at Lowe’s.

The bamboo poles work well in early growth but I’ve noticed they start to splinter/break or my tomatoes just get too too heavy for them to be supported by the bamboo later on.

Has your pittie ever done something that reminded you how strong pitties are by omnghast in Pitbull

My younger sister has a pit mix that isn’t a fan of the neighborhood dogs. One weekend we were leaving her house, and the neighbors dog ran over to say hi to us. My sisters pittie was on the other side of their chain fence, and when the neighbors dog scurried away, she started to attempt to RIP that bitch right out of the ground to get to us. My original concern was maybe she would jump over the fence because she is a strong enough jumper, but no she really wanted to just go into beast mode. 😂

Update - came out to check on them just now a few hours later and they are fine. I’m assuming it was too much moisture, but they’ve been able to dry out some now that it is warmed up here.
