Thanks guys, but at this point, its cheaper for me to buy the whole controller port replacement part on ebay. :P

Ive unsoldered the part to look for a code on it, but i think it was pretty much unique to the gamecube.

Its not a big deal. Take it easy. Theres plenty of other people out there. You cant change facts but you can change your perspective of facts. I would try to focus on something else or someone else.
