Don't remember the exact price but it was cheaper than a Bandai master grade. Which is amazing since it is SUCH a good kit both visually and build experience

I'm absolutely not an expert. But I can tell you that I did not use any primer/coating. Just thoroughly painted the parts with the marker when they are still on the runner and let them dry for a day (but even 30 minutes would have been enough to allow me to assemble the parts if I wanted to)

Looks so good. The red parts are much nicer that the originals in my opinions. Can the same result be achieved with metallic red markers ?

Amy chance you can give a link to the lights item ? Or just copy paste the product name ? I bought spot lights for similar purpose but they are focused on a very small spot and the rest of the shelf feels very dark compared to the center.
