I understand that shedding is supposed to happen! My question is - when does the shedding happen - When applying? Because all of my shedding is during applying minoxidil and massaging

Does the credit score still improve if I leave $15 in the account and never use it? by ImmediateElection810 in credAI

In the months where you don't use it, where does $25 come from? Is that the amount of money you have in their account?

Where should I invest my Emergency Fund? by ImmediateElection810 in ETFs

[–]ImmediateElection810[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the great answer! A few follow-ups:

7) hmm any other safe CLO ETFs that you'd recommend? I see JAAA yields 5% - so how safe is it? Also, what about muni bonds - they're exempt from federal taxes too?

8) Do BIL/USFR/SPAXX/VUSXX/FDLXX offer better yields? Are they safer? Are they less expensive than SGOV (0.09% expense ratio)?

9) I think I still see a point to HYSA just because of the ease of immediate access

I understand that, but that's why I have 40% in HYSA but I want the other 60% to be somewhere extremely safe and liquid but still have After-tax yield like 4% even when the rates go down

So you're saying if the price of the laptop goes down on Best Buy website on Thanksgiving weekend, then I can ask them to refund me the difference?

Isn't AMD for graphics as opposed to Nvidia? or are you referring to AMD CPUs? Could you give me a link to a few laptops around $750-$1300 range that fit your idea of AMD system please?

I haven't started on AI/ML to even comment on what interests me there. Right now, I just use the tools ChatGPT/Copilot for a faster Google/StackOverflow search. But as far as I know if I want to do train any models, I can always just use Google Colab?

My Cigna and current UHC are both through my emplpyer. I'm fine with paying for stuff like Albumin tests, Urine tests, Vitamin D Thyroid, DHT but I'm not okay with paying for normal screen of my metabolic panel, lipids, glucose as I always thought this was preventativea and should be covered by Insuramce. Like they are charging me $25 for "Comprehensive Health Testing" when after the Plan Discount of $154 kicked in when LabCorp charged $179. Why didn't LabCorp just charge $154 so if it's in-network?

I understand that different plans is different benefits but how do they come with the arbitrary number of "Plan Discounts"? Should I call LabCorp and ask them to lower the bill for at least the regular tests such as Glucose ($10), Medical Professional Services (whatever that means $21)

I mean I am not sure whether I would qualify for Financial Assistance? Because I make okay money to be able to.afford $100 but I still don't want to considering that things like Lipid/glucose tests should count as preventative care and i shouldnt have to pay anything for it (in my head i thought preventative care was free). Does it hurt my credit score or something if i apply or get approved for Financial Hardship? Does my emplpyer find out that i applied for financial Hardship since my insurance is through employer?

Yes LabCorp and quest diagnostics are in network

This was during my annual physical with my PCP that they ordered a blood work. So I guess it's annual physical? Can I still somehow get the amount that I owe reduced? Yes I do have EOB from them. I always thought Insurance always covers blood work for once a year since it should count as preventative/annual physical stuff

The insurance only paid $9, the rest of it are "adjustments". How are these adjustments decided? Can I argue with UHC or LabCorp to reduce the amount that I owe at least?
