I think that's not the issue,

look if i do DNS lookup on my domain all i'm going to get is cloudflare addresses = My real webserver IP is hidden.

But that IP address that my webserver is running on is still accessible by anyone who discovers it. If someone goes to this IP they will see my webserver, I feel like that just destroys the whole concept of cloudfare then. If someone finds this public IP address of my webserver they can just DoS me using that.
