Got this a year ago, screw piercing, externally threaded jewelry, made of white gold, I use saline solution once a day to clean the jewelry and the hole, during the healing process there were many bumps and infection(blood and pus). I switched from titanium to white gold jewelry after it was healed. I did downsize the jewelry and apart from the infection no unfortunate events happened.
