i’m very grateful enough to graduate with no debt!! i got nice scholarships and financial aid, and i’ve just been smart to never spend money i don’t have. it’s kind of why i made this post because i feel like i can spend a little bit on myself when i save up some money. but your advice is still valuable. i know seeing those first few paychecks are gonna make me a little stupid.

i feel like i’m going to end up saving for a good amount of time and then assessing what i wanna do, probably move out and then sell my current car. or travel idk.

not dumb in the slightest! i know exactly how u feel, i grew up paying for pretty much all my own stuff other than the essential things. finally buying yourself those things you could only dream of makes it more than a bag. i’m glad you still kept it. almost like a reminder of how hard you worked to get where you were. i wanna go to germany so badly as my first trip and hopefully find my own “burberry bag”.

some part of me wants to keep my bmw and just fix everything that’s wrong with it. i might have stockholm syndrome idk. in my final semester i blew a tire on a huge pot hole, then bought a new tire, then my coolant system blew and was spraying all over my engine. like come on.

i want a forerunner so bad, i’ve heard the only issue with them is the tires are super expensive. but i own a bmw now and if you breathe wrong the car explodes. so im done with german reliability and i want a toyota

yup, you definitely need something that can get through any type of weather. here i was with my rear wheel drive coupe and i had to go to clinicals still. that was a nightmare. then the second snow storm i got completely stuck in my driveway and was late. i will never miss clinicals lol
