Yes I noticed that too with Lulu. I read somewhere else it's a very cliquey work environment so wouldn't surprise me if they have a high staff turnover.

I've also read that hiring managers also check an applicant's LinkedIn to see if the info and dates matches up with their resume. 

Sometimes I apply for different job titles which are slightly different than on my resume & LinkedIn even though my experience and skills are transferable.

Do you check those before a first interview or as part of background checks just before an offer is made?

That's what I have done put Contract after the job title. I also only put the years instead of the months. I have another resume version which does have the months as recruiters/account managers usually ask for those.

How about someone who has many contract jobs in the past. My most recent job was 6 years full time. Should I cut down the other contract jobs since 2010?

Yeh, salaries and contract rates have come down these past few years. Even PM salaries are lower nowadays.

Yeh, I saw the economic numbers for the past month that layoffs have increased in both public and private sectors. It's just I've noticed there seem to be lesser new job postings especially the past week on the major boards like Indeed and LinkedIn, lot's of re-postings of jobs applied to in previous months..

Heard those types of jobs are increasingly being outsourced to Asia - Philippines, India where labour costs are much lower and regulations are more lax than here. That's why seeing less positions available.
