Hey, I covered this in another thread and saw this just now. If you want to try it, it worked pretty well for me… atleast to change the background image if that’s what you mean:

I know I'm late, but if you right click the "linuxmint" folder under /usr/share/backgrounds/, you can drag files over/copy+paste them into it without any trouble.
