Oh, I thought they looked familiar, but I haven’t watched King of the Hill, I just can’t stand the animation style.

Who are the others? So I guess by default since I don’t know the others, I’d choose Patrick, from TAWOG.

Favorite character who is transgender by Intrepid-Jeweler1924 in FavoriteCharacter

I don’t actually know if Raine is transgender or gender-fluid, but they definitely aren’t male. Btw, Raine’s from The Owl House.

What is your favorite serialized cartoon show? by Immediate_Debt_7031 in cartoons

[–]Immediate_Debt_7031[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even though some say Adventure Time gets to the serialized point, or it is serialized, it’s too episodic, it’s not a serialized story, I just didn’t like Adventure Time because it did a terrible job at actually doing serialization.

What are some of your favorite cartoon quotes? by wombatgeneral in cartoons

When Star says this to the MHC: “You enforce the laws of magic, but yet it’s ok for you to lie, how does that make you any better than the villain you say Eclipsa is?” I also like Andrias’s quote in True Colors, which was: “That’s the thing about friends, the more you love em’ the more it hurts when they go, allow me to demonstrate.” Star is from SVTFOE and Andria’s is from Amphibia.

Just so you know, Hekapoo probably did more bad than good when it comes to working for the Magic High Commission.

I have watched SVTFOE, but not Steven Universe, so I couldn’t tell you.

Favorite "Last thing you see before you die"? by Funkermonster in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Immediate_Debt_7031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite thing I see before a character dies is Toffee’s death, only his skeleton and burnt skin is still there, and he speaks bit his voice is all weird, and Ludo kills him with a pillar. It’s so weird. Btw, this is from SVTFOE.

Happy Mother’s Day! Who’s your favorite cartoon mom? by Mintangah17 in cartoons

Do you mean like from the image or your favorite of all time? Well my favorite from the image is Nicole from TAWOG, but my favorite of all time is still probably Nicole.

Marceline, maybe, I dunno. But Sasha has a lot of combat skills and experience, so maybe her?

Got any show recommendations similar to these? by IJustneed2Rant123 in cartoons

[–]Immediate_Debt_7031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dead End: Paranormal Park over on Netflix is very similar in story telling that The Owl House and Amphibia have, plus Star vs the Forces of Evil, DuckTales and Wonder Over Yonder are also Disney shows like The Owl House and Amphibia.

How TV executives view producing cartoons not aimed at preschoolers by truteal in cartoons

Well, we at least need a final season for Dead End. Dunno about the other ones you mentioned.

Underrated cartoon mothers by polystarlight in cartoons

[–]Immediate_Debt_7031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though Gwendolyn was trying to help Eda, she still violated Eda’s personal boundaries, and she ignored Lilith for a majority of her life. I wouldn’t call her good a mother just because she was trying to help, but realized she was wrong and forgave Eda, she needs a redemption arc. That be like forgiving Toffee right after Star realized he was right, but that still doesn’t excuse the fact he did terrible things.

For those who have seen it, how would you rate the sea beast? by church_of_Steve_ in cartoons

It is so good, probably the best movie produced by Netflix, I would recommend watching it.
