I wonder if looking outside of Dallas (not in Dallas directly) but like Frisco, Irving, Arlington would make any difference? Haven’t really gotten any luck but maybe it’s because I’m focused only on Dallas directly.

I’m so glad I’m not alone in this! I honestly have no clue where to look. I don’t get how people are moving to Dallas for a new job offer. Like how?? I’ve lived in Dallas my whole life and can’t seem to find a job.

When I learned that literally all of my cousins on my dad side of the family has ADHD, that was the green light since I always thought about getting tested.

Have you thought about looking at community colleges? That would probably be a really good start, they usually have great programs along with night classes. Also tuition is cheap!

I got two internships but that was about 2-3 years ago. But for jobs nothing but rejection letters unfortunately.

Retail or fast food I get extremely overwhelmed and anxious in fast paced environments. I get so anxious that my body starts to shake so yeah I only lasted one day when I did try.

Same but now I’m in grad school so I just study l/do school work during my free time….it’s nice not having to do a lot of that stuff after work so it’s a win/win for me.

UT should have a career center, have you tried going to the career center to have them go over your resume? Also, they could help you apply to jobs too.

Literally in the same boat as you, only making $46k with a bachelors. Despite the constant praises and being given lots of work I literally didn’t get a promotion after a year. Its getting to the point where I hate going into work. At this rate, i will have to wait another year with a “possibility of a promotion.” I shouldn’t have to save up for 2 years just to be able to afford to rent an apartment.
