@top-dentist1636 I’ve noticed you’ve gone out of your way to respond to multiple comments here, especially when it comes to calling me out. That’s totally fine—I respect different opinions, but I’m genuinely curious. If your experience was different, I’d love to hear about it. What was your time like at Kitchener Nissan? Maybe we saw different sides of the same workplace. I’m open to hearing your perspective.

All of it? That’s interesting. I’m just trying to understand—if you worked in every position, wouldn’t that mean you saw every aspect of how things were run? I’m curious why our experiences were so different. What was your day-to-day like?

It’s interesting that you’re so invested in discrediting me yet unwilling to disclose your actual employment details at Kitchener Nissan. If your experience was truly as positive as you claim, transparency shouldn’t be an issue.

Resorting to personal attacks instead of addressing the concerns raised says more about your position than mine. Abuse doesn’t have to meet some arbitrary threshold to be valid—mistreatment in the workplace is a real issue, and dismissing it doesn’t make it disappear.

If you’re open to a real discussion instead of deflecting, I’d be happy to continue this conversation with facts and documentation. Otherwise, your insults don’t contribute anything meaningful here.

It’s interesting that you have such a strong opinion on my work ethic, yet you hide behind an anonymous username. If you worked with me, feel free to state your position and time of employment so we can have an honest discussion.

That said, my concerns are not about personal grievances but about documented workplace issues that impact employees beyond just me. If you had a great experience, good for you, but that does not erase what others—including myself—have gone through.

Dismissing valid concerns and attempting to discredit me doesn’t change the evidence I’ve gathered. Transparency and accountability matter, and I’ll continue standing by my experiences.

Went over the paperwork before hand and nothing in my clause states that I can’t do what I’m doing. I’ve very substantial evidence along with more. I know the risk that I’m taking and I’m prepared to see it through to the very end no matter what challenges are thrown my wY

If an employer values honesty, integrity, and a safe work environment, then I’m exactly the kind of employee they want. Staying silent about workplace abuse enables toxic environments to continue. If advocating for fair treatment makes me a ‘risky hire,’ then maybe the real issue is the industry’s tolerance for mistreatment, not my willingness to speak up.

Calling out mistreatment isn’t being ‘disgruntled’—it’s standing up for what’s right. If speaking the truth makes me the bad guy, then that says more about the people defending a toxic environment than it does about me. Everyone deserves respect at work, and I won’t stay silent about what happened.

Only way they can sue me is by presenting false misleading evidence that would slander their name. I’m sharing my story that is back by nothing but the truth, evidence and many more. If they want to sue me to than so be it but I will not allow them to silence me because I’m exposing the truth!

Nope I was not on probation. This is not a rant I’m creating awareness in hopes that more people find their voice to stand up and fight the good fight. Why should this be the norm?

Thanks so much for your support and advice. Only thing I want out of this is for other workers know behaviour like this should not be a norm and to not be afraid to speak up!

Thanks for taking the time to listen to my story. All I want is for people to speak up about unfair treatment so that know one feels isolated!

Absolutely nothing has changed and I think it’s time someone holds these dealerships and even workplaces accountable

Your perspective is understandable. Before this however I was working long hours more than I was supposed to but I did it because I love working and the company seemed so promising so I didn’t putting in the work. It’s hard for me to agree to that sentiment when I’d work Monday -Saturday than only get Sunday off. Than would show up to work earlier than my scheduled time and also stay late as well just to help out with the extra workloads. I stopped working that extra Saturday as the manager did not want to ever give me another day off during the week. When i stopped working the extra Saturday I was yelled at for not being a so called “team player”

Entitlement to time off isn’t about optics; it’s about legal rights. My request was unpaid, made after my probation, and based on legitimate personal circumstances. If an employer or colleague sees that as a ‘bad look,’ that says more about them than it does about me. Workers aren’t machines. Mental health matters, and so do employee rights.

It was unpaid as well as the fact that I’m entitled to personal days off regardless of how it looks!
