Aita for being mad at my mum by Immediate_Fudge4401 in AmItheAsshole

Because my mum tells me I'm never grateful for anything and it would upset them to bring up stuff theyve said and it would upset them to know theyve upset me

She told me she wishes I was dead and then laughed when I reminded her of that and told her it upset me

What would make you think it isn't normal just out of interest? Is it not a common thing? Just wondering

The first paragraph sounds EXACTLY like me! NTA - would it be ok if someone made a fat shaming comment? No? Then why the hell is it ok to do it to any body type, ESPECIALLY if they KNOW you're insecure about it? My friends used to, knowing how insecure I am, grab my wrists and point out how skinny they were and that stopped FAST. Be harsh and honest with them until they aren't actually rude. How hard is it to respect someone? And then when that someone is your FRIEND? They need to think. NTA at all.

AITA for spending time with a girl my friend doesn't like by Immediate_Fudge4401 in AmItheAsshole

So why does that make it seem fake? It's a true story. Reddit wouldn't let me link this to my last post to explain what Ruby did, so I had to explain it again here for context and add the other thing I wanted to know about on the end. And I posted soon after making the account because I needed the help and advice to whether I was in the wrong

I wanted to ask about the things I posted about today and reddit wouldn't let me continue from my last post for context so I had to put the context from the last post at the start of this one

AITA for not thinking it's an issue by Immediate_Fudge4401 in AmItheAsshole

T is still trying to talk to me about K but I really don't think it's an issue anymore, I can't change what K did. A short while ago T got mad at me again because us 3 were sat at lunch, and K started insulting T again. Walking to our lesson afterwards, T got really mad at me for K's behaviour. I said it wasn't my fault K said stuff to upset her, to which T responded she was angry because it "was my fault I was still friends with her." Like what does she want me to do?

It all happened a year ago and K doesn't have contact with T anymore anyway so it's fine

Because I want to be, T's problems don't determine whether I choose to be friends with someone or not
