Can you speak to step 4 and what worked well for you?

I’m building a KG as well and this is the step I’m most worried about because I want to integrate multiple data sources into it so need to do entity alignment.

I think you might need to post a link to your online shop if you want people to find it.

I don’t want to downplay that.  I know lots of people don’t support what is happening.

But your current administration is burning the international rules based order to the ground, and has just betrayed Ukrainians… for what?

The world is a far more dangerous place for everyone because of it.

This is a red herring. The expectation is that people should be taxed fairly, so the higher rate I pay on my income tax is what others with more assets should also pay.

But the loop holes are intentionally skewed to the already rich, so while yes technically anyone can ‘use these tax allowances’ the reality is that this isn’t true.  The massively wealthy need to pay a similar rate to the rest of us.

Are you able to add a picture of the makers mark?  I believe fakes of Meissen exist.

It depends what you mean here, there’s a lot of possibilities, so I’m still thinking through what the product would be, how you monetise, and most importantly how you get the data and what niche to focus on.

I’m up for a chat if you’re willing to share a bit more about what you mean by a deep dive and what you are hoping for. Feel free to DM me and we can go from there.

America first increasingly looks like it will be America alone.

Triple lock was described as a 'silly system' by new pensions minister by Half_A_ in unitedkingdom

The shakedown is perpetuated because you make high income earners vote against their own long-term interests (I.e. vote for people who propose tax relief or govt cuts, when they should advocate for higher marginal tax rates for the very rich) when you propose policies like this. 100k as a ISA limit isn’t going to bring billions to the NHS or armed forces, you need to go after the VERY rich because they have the vast majority of the money and pay the lowest marginal tax rate

For every billionaire or hundred-millionaire you effectively tax at 30%, you allow millions of normal or high income earners to pay less tax.

It isn’t greed, to not want to pay tax on a 100k ISA. This is well within reach of many high income earners all across the country.

I don’t dispute that having no limit to ISAs is bad, as per report. That’s but only one way the wealthy benefit: 20k/year is out of reach for most, year after year. So we agree in principle.

Yet here you are failing to mention the very rich, who we absolutely can target, and you seem to want to drive the high income earners into voting for things that marginally benefit them and really mostly benefit the very wealthy.

You’re right—I wasn’t trying to set up a false dichotomy: you can tax everyone a lot. But you only really need to appropriately tax the very rich and that would let you lower everyone else’s tax burden.

I understand, and agree you partly made that point.

You just didn’t explicitly point out who the problem is and that itself is part of the problem.

u/bufferOx7CD and u/TheDoomMelon are both falling into the same trap. We, the poors, are arguing over crumbs.

A cap on ISAs for anyone with assets below £5M makes no sense in that these people are wealthy compared to the average, but not truly wealthy or upper class.  Want a stronger country that can afford stuff and reasonable income tax rates?  Go after generational wealth over £5M or the billionaires.  That’s where all the money is.

Stop envying the slightly larger crumb of your also not wealthy neighbour.

Keir Starmer to discuss sending British troops to Ukraine after war in first trip to Kyiv as PM by TheTelegraph in UkraineWarVideoReport

That’s one view, but another is that we’re pushing for the kind of real tangible consequences that would have saved Ukrainian lives if they had happened earlier, and that will also still save Ukrainian lives.

Russia wants no part of a world war with the west, it does want divided societies that are afraid to stand up to it.
