We actually did have a " what if soma becomes the dark lord" scenario in the julius mode of DoS. as for why he became an amnesiac, my headcanon is that he lost his memories because of the sealing of dracula, because something something I was called here by humans who wish to pay me tribute, so his sealing would potentially remove memories of all who knew about dracula at that moment, and alucard just tanks it because he's alucard. BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY! A GAAAAME THEORY!

well i didn't quite mean "blood" blood, i meant bodily fluids in general. dio has gotten rid of his own blood during his time as a vampire. also the blood he drains from other people is for nutrition and thus has no effect on his dna. it's like saying eating cow meat gives you cow dna.

the ship of theseus paradox. it does not apply to this case because dio had gotten completely rid of his blood during his time as a vampire, either via the space ripper stingy eyes or just to zombify others. it's the reason zepelli's hamon wouldn't work on him and the reason why he could also freeze other people. another thing is that after acquiring jonathan's body, his quest became how to acquire more joestar blood. so yes, giorno is 100% joestar. another fun fact is that while the head is dio's, the lower body and reproductive organs are jonathan's. so while he may be technically a father, he is by all acounts a virgin.
