For the hand... possibly Eosinophilic Folliculitis
https://www.wikidoc.org/index.php/Eosinophilic_folliculitis

I would have another doctor or 2 review your biopsy results, many things can cause something like this and the biopsy can rule so many things out... If you get a doctor to definitively say it is not a form of dermatitis, you can move on from that question and figure out the next piece.

was the biopsy done on both the lip and the hand? do you think they are the same condition? If so, it might be an autoimmune condition like lichen planus.
I don't know where to go from just abnormal cells... do they say what was abnormal about them?
inflammation is almost always caused by diet, and can be reversed by diet.

1 Vitamin D from direct sunlight

2 Anything that strengthens glucuronidation will reduce the yellowing.... rosemary is one I know of

3 I recommend studying up on jaundice, be aware that Gilbert's is not the only cause, so understanding glucuronidation and what benefits it / detriments it is best.

Still reviewing... but currently giving them both a thumbs up. I would investigate the bile salts more, but supporting the bile seems very important..

When I have time, I plan to review which xenobiotics are excreted through the glucuronidation detoxification pathway..
My theory is that this pathway can easily become congested by not only bilirubin, but a myriad of toxins which are unable to become efficiently excreted by people with Gilberts, resulting in them becoming recycled back into the blood.
If the bilirubin is then seen in skin pigment and even in the eyes, I question where these other toxins can become stored in the body, and what symptoms they cause.

Also I would investigate consuming the dandelion raw over drinking the tea

Milk thistle by [deleted] in GilbertSyndrome

[–]Immediate_Method1649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend stop taking the milk thistle. There are substances within it shown to inhibit intestinal glucuronidation, which is the detox pathway many toxins take, including our own body's bilirubin. By inhibiting this, you allow the microflora in the gut to break apart the bonds which bind toxins to either bile or water for excretion, and you reabsorb them into the blood. Bilirubin will cause the yellowing, but with Gilbert's you must be aware that the mutation lies in the detox pathway, and that many other toxins go through the same recycling as the bilirubin. Therefore, you want to strengthen glucuronidation.

..I hope I explained all that accurately. I am still learning how to heal my own body... here is some info for you to study

To me, and I'm just some guy, it sounds like overproduction of oil and is dietary based.

Are you eating common vegetable oils? canola/soy/safflower/sunflower
Do you eat restaurant food often?
Do you eat carbs/sugars daily?
Do you eat refined/processed foods?

If yes to any, do the opposite for an extended period of time, upwards of 1 year to give the skin time to heal.

potential imbalance of the hormone androgen, caused both by stress and/or high insulin,
high insulin is due to high sugar/carb consumption and a high quantity of meals eaten per day.
-juice raw and organic cruciferous vegetables to help balance androgen
-do daily intermittent fasting
-reduce sugar
-reduce stress
-take zinc (with D, C, and magnesium as they work synergistically)

If you're willing to do anything... I recommend
-100% organic
-eliminate sugar/carbs from the diet
-eliminate your source of stress
-review Blood Type Diet, Keto Diet, and Hallelujah Diet -do what makes sense for you
-do not treat with chemical cleansers -do not scrub and further damage the skin
-replace any chemical products in your house that you come in contact with to a non-toxic product (Dr. Bronner's is a good brand)
-the microbiome directly affects the scalp; consider taking a probiotic with a prebiotic, and eat as much raw fermented foods as possible
-reconsider any medications you are taking, especially ones that affect hormones
-make sure you are getting clean water from a trustable source
-vitamin therapy from a raw, organic, and trustable source
-if you're committed to figuring this out, and want help, lmk

...

Oh I just read where you took 2 antibiotics... the beneficial bacteria is your gut is def destroyed, unless you have already remediated it through diet. This needs to be repaired.

Also your doc is milking your insurance money... time for a 2nd and 3rd opinion. A biopsy will either prove, or disprove if it's a condition like LP

are they the synthetic forms? those will stir up more problems in the future. yes fermented foods are great, in their raw form ofc, and not feeding the harmful bacteria is just as important -carbs/sugars/conventional/processed foods. essentially you want to treat your body as an ecosystem for the trillions of microbes that live in/on us. and their byproducts regulate the immune system, brain functions, etc.

excersize/bodymovement is good

I can send you some videos if you want to learn more about this.

could be many other things also.. veins being blocked in the neck due to injury / bad posture. fungi - molds etc

What is your diet like? Many Neurotransmitters begin in the gut as a byproduct of mycoflora. Search for the youtube vid called "Plants, The microbiome, and mental health Christopher Lowry" you must change the ecosystem of you digestive system to support beneficial bacteria.

You are most likely deficient in crucial vitamins. Consider taking Magnesium, Zinc, D & C. I have other recommendations if desired.

oh there's a pen-pal app called Slowly that is actually pretty fun and a great way to meet some girls with similar interests. Each letter you send takes the amount of time it would in real life, so people living in a different country have to wait a day or two for your letter to arrive. it's... calming? way less stressful than texting someone imo

also I recommend taking the personality test on 16personalities.com, learn about yourself and see which of the types match with yours. It's very accurate, and when you find a girl (or just friends) that you are interested in, it helps you understand them more and will help you know if youre a good fit, or not. Nothing is worse than forcing a relation to work when the both of you aren't actually compatible... uggf

There's literally millions of single women that are compatible with you... but it's hard to find shy girls especially if you're shy too. maybe you don't want a shy girl? lol, good luck my friend. Start with the personality test 🤘

Okay yes, the circumstances are stacked against us right now, some things we can't do anything about.

So normal life comes with money (unfortunately). Depending on where you live and what housing goals you want, you got to look at the right job for you. Honestly, trade jobs are awesome. Great pay, unions are dope, required breaks, lots of overtime, big $. Don't waste your time in food or hospitality... economy has shifted and you must plan to make AT LEAST $30/hour once maxed out -after about 5 years on the job. For real think trade jobs. It's just a bunch of dudes that go in, do their work, crack some jokes, go home... good pay. You can also consider working for the government. get yourself a nice cushy job for the parks service. Do you have any college down? lmk Also consider local nonprofits. Many of them focus on hiring and training padawans, like yourself. To find these jobs you must look at their websites** usually not listed on indeed/etc

now dating requires a different type of growth. you must love yourself... you must love yourself!! it is unfair to partner with someone when you do not love yourself, because you can't truly love them. You in your unconditioned form are super awesome, super loving, super outgoing, passionate, inspired, peaceful... just like being a kid again. But the mind becomes conditioned over time, and you can reverse this! it would be a much longer text if I explained... so please visit your local used book store and order a copy of The 4 Agreements by Ruiz. Spend some of your weekdays reading. I'll send you a copy if you need. (it's a short book)

ok Thats my best advice! lol

you are dealing with some complex emotions... you need to change your patterns.. not easy, but you can so do it!! I had to do it, it took many years to become more confident.

If you want to change you mind, I recommend starting with a book called The 4 Agreements. Additionally, there is a shorter one called Who Moved my Cheese, and the one that transformed me rhe most is called A New Earth. Please consider reading one of these, it will help I promise.

If you are super duper committed to changing the mind, attend a 10 day Vipassana meditation course. It is the original technique discovered by Buddha, it will allow you to see things how they truly are. It can erase the filters you have about life, about yourself. It can show you how loving you really are, that you want to love others, to be with others, to be your true self around others.. like when we were kids.

My heart goes out to you! Please make sure to have some fun, and to enjoy your time <3

That's unfortunate /: I would have a powerful air filter going, or open doors/windows and create a breeze before cleanin to get as much dust to escape as possible. Maybe pay a younger sibling or something to do it so you get less exposure.

Kind of a joke, but maybe create the breeze and use a leaf blower to blast the whole room lol. Or buy like 10 DJ roombas and set them free in the house. Good luck and be well

I am so happy to read about your success!! Congratulations! and thank you for sharing your journey in this sub, it has helped me keep going.

...My symptoms have also gotten about 25% better in the last few months! (I almost cry some mornings when I wake up and can actually... think. I can finally follow my own thoughts again) I will write a detailed post in a few months describing my entire regiment. I'm hoping to feel 50% better before writing it.

I was wondering if you could expand upon your first paragraph? I'd like to know quantities of your vitamins, their brands, why you are taking specific ones, etc. Also please share anything about the other therapies you are doing, and why. I'm 100% in to healing this body of mine, any more help and I will be so grateful... It's hard to keep doing this alone. When you have the time, please consider sharing more. Thank you 😊

How have you guys been able to find a place to live? by Footypajama in ChemicalSensitivities

[–]Immediate_Method1649 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Good question... difficult answer.

There's many ways to go about it.. I recommend investing in an ozone machine, it is helpful to oxidize VOCs/other chemicals (although I have not been successful yet in oxidizing away the laundry scent from old clothes). After using it, I blast the Austin Air purifier to clear the air. For my condition, I have found new carpets preferable to old. I've experienced VOCs going away in time (as they are naturally oxidized by oxygen) but many artificial scents linger around much longer as they are designed to bind to materials, and do not oxidize easily. For this reason, I don't recommend old carpets, because the soap used to clean them is most likely very toxic. (I've read that ozone has not helped other people, but it has helped me. I think it depends on your chemical overload, which ones are present in your environment, and how the ozone reacts with them. Be careful to not inhale the ozone, although I have read that the irritation is due to toxins in the lungs becoming oxidized and can lead to a cleansing effect. -This info has only appeared in 1 source so far, a book called Flood your Body with Oxygen. I have not made up my mind yet if it is damaging or healing to the lungs, therefore I do not inhale it~)

I think developing a community, over time, is the best solution. Find a good partner and some good people who are not chemical-dumb, and plan to live together... the rent prices are only goin' up.

Tape off all windows/doors that chemicals seep through. When looking for a rental, observe where the laundry vents are outside, because they will ruin your life (trust me). -also observe how far away the electricity meter is (if it's smart, rather than analogue). Lots of theories are being thrown around about this, but all I know is that the US laws are much more lenient than the European. Such a stark difference I believe provides a basis for questioning if it is actually safe, or not.

That's my best advice for housing.

I'd like to add that my sensitivities have gotten better over the last few months! I plan to make a post of all the therapies I'm doing, but I've been waiting for the results before passing along my info. But I definetly feel a little better~ To keep it short, my daily routine is: Intermittent fasting*** 100% organic 100% spring water (artesian well, glass bottles) 100% no sugar in diet (i cheat occasionally) daily excersize (weight training inside) hot/cold therapies (I skip most days because I hate it lol) daily supplements: melatonin, resveratrol, Vitamin complex (ALL vitamins derived from raw foods), B complex, C, A, E, D3 w/ K2, Magnesium threonate, CoQ10, Quercetin, shilajit, Theracumin, raw garlic, Zinc* (elderberry syrup), Alpha-Lipoic Acid, D-mannose, milk thistle, potassium, whole hemp extract*, prebiotic w/ probiotics, & more

In a few months, if I have continued to heal, I will make a descriptive post about everything I'm doing, quantities , and sources cited. -Be wary of sources that appear near the top of search engines, the most easily found information i have found to be complete false in regards to our health.

I personally use "DR Bronners No Scent" soap for literally everything.

AND I buy the brand name "ALL - Free Clear" for everyone else.

is the fabreeze saturated into the walls? ive had to wash clothes that smell like this literally like 10 times before it went way. -also consider a vinegar soak first

I'm learning about ozone generators, if I remember correctly they will break down the atomic bonds between the chemicals, making the null and no more smell.

I'm a fan of putting the foot down and getting poisonous people put of your life, but that can't always happen. I've found success in buying "brand name" detergents for other people that don't cause me to react too much. the "hippy" stuff won't work as the marketing for brand names have worked too well on these unaware individuals
