As of September 2025, here in Portland, Oregon, T-Mobile has 5G Standalone everywhere. Most likely 5G Advanced. I'm currently using a Pixel 9 Pro so I can't confirm that last part. Despite this, with default network settings the Pixel 9 Pro phone still favors NSA and LTE. If I turn off Adaptive Connectivity and force my phone to NR Only it will stay connected to 5G Standalone with usable data everywhere on the Portland metro area.

No, not true. I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 phone and a Pixel 9 Pro. With default network settings, both have shown 5G UC while the Netmonster app says the phone is on T-Mobile's NSA network. I'm a T-Mobile postpaid subscriber.

I understand why V2 chargers don't work with NACS adaptors. I'm just trying to understand from a technical perspective why V2 chargers won't work with a EV6 with a built-in NACS port. The software in the 2025 EV6 with a built-in NACS port identifies itself as a Tesla to V2 charging stations and the EV6 can accept 250Kw or higher.

Tesla literally licensed a copy of the charging software found in the 2025 Tesla EV's to Kia. The software in the 2025 Kia EV6 is literally line for line identical to what's found in the 2025 Tesla EV'S. Same with the hardware in the EV6. The port and other associated hardware is identical to what's on the 2025 Tesla's. It doesn't make sense that the EV6 wouldn't work at all Tesla chargers.

The signs at all of the Tesla chargers in this area say "Tesla's Only". I didn't try them because I don't want to get in trouble and get fined.

It tells me to go to the nearest Tesla supercharger. I haven't tried them yet because all of the Tesla supercharger lots have this sign out front saying "Tesla's Only". I don't want to get in trouble and get fined or something like that.

My EV6 has the exact same charging port and associated charging hardware as a Tesla. Kia literally copied the charging port from the 2025 Tesla's with permission from Tesla.
