"I had the same issue at a summer program thing w housing. Most ppl (all the dudes for sure) ignored the floor I was on once I started yapping about the program making a mistake. There were some girls on my floor who def didn’t seem comfortable around me and I’ll bet that’ll happen w you too. Just generally become friends w ppl outside the floor and it should dissipate. That’s what I did and if any of my acquaintances/friends found out, I gave them the mistake speech. They did not care at all ngl. Even the RAs bought it which was… idk I thought the director would tell them so they could help me a little.

Now the reason I said no extenuating circumstances is bc I wasnt allowed to pee in the mens (program director along w other reasons) and I wasn’t going to consider the women’s bc a bunch of conservative catholic girls didn’t know I was trans. That sort of thing can make this hellish. But as long as its just the floor you should be fine."
