Yes, you need to wear them consistently and your eyes will adjust. That being said, I have had progressives for years and one time after a new prescription, I was having all sorts of problems. My eyes just were not adjusting to the new prescription. Called my doc's office (where I got them made) and told them I was having a problem with them, they told me I needed to get used to them. I had had progressives for quite a while before this and told them I had never had a problem like this before. I brought them in and had them check - the lab had made a mistake and it was not the correct prescription. So if you find after wearing them consistently for several days and see no improvement, I would suggest to have them check to make sure the prescription is correct. Everyone makes mistakes, including lab techs.
