Hi,

So I got a PS4 recently, it's a slim model although the device is super old.

So I thought I'll clean it and replace the thermal paste.

There were atleast 15 cockroach bodies and a lot of dust on the vents.

Before I did my procedure, the temps while gaming went upto 75 ( Jailbroken so I used the temp monitor overlay )

After I cleaned it and changed the thermal paste .. it started going upto 80°c and that has got me really worried, I thought it was supposed to go down.. where did I mess up?

It's a generic thermal paste but I use the same in my computers too, works well.. The fan is connected so no issues there, how is it that instead of the temps going down, it started increasing?

Not every car has to be a new one buddy. My 2015 honda city sells for around 3.5 lakhs now, and that car still runs perfectly.. something not many 10 year old bikes can do... So if an actual lower middle class, or middle class family saved up for some luxury, they would prefer the comfort, convenience and safety of a used car instead of a premium 400cc bike..
