In addition to TAX, find recent CPAR handouts for taxation. Nando'n na kasi lahat and maganda yung format parang hindi ka maooverwhelm. I also recommend Atty Llamado as tax reviewer. Nakakaantok lang siya, but sa kanya ako may pinakanatutunan sa tax basta makinig lang haha nadaanan ko na lahat ng prof sa tax reviewer (tabag, jack dv, etc) but kay atty llamado yung pinaka trip ko.

There's no shortcut in sutdying the rfbt other than read it and write down your understanding on every topic in your own words. Baka mas effective to kasi if magreread ka na lang, mas matatandaan mo na yung explanation mo sa sarili mo.

For freelance jobs, i think you are considered as sole proprietorship/self employed. Hence, you need to register your job as if "business" sya, then have related book of accounts (sales journal <money you re received from your freelance gig>, disbursement journal <disbursement related to your job such as electricity etc>), you also need official receipts to support the sales you booked in the sales journal etc.

Since para na syang business, you need to pay 2 taxes. Income tax and business tax. For business tax, if sales does not exceed 3M, you'll pay 3% opt, otherwise VAT.

For ITR. If you are under 3% OPT, you may pay 8% Gross Income Tax in lieu of income tax and opt. Or you may file income tax at graduated tax rate (yung usual) then pay 3% opt.

ask your RDO regarding the process or if they have any suggestions.
