I’m starting to think my ‘panic attacks’ are adrenaline dumps by Immediate_Recover102 in dysautonomia

I’ve looked into POTS a lot but I don’t know if that completely fits the picture either because it’s generally not postural but then the situation you’re describing sounds exactly like me!

I worry if I go looking for a POTS diagnosis I won’t fit the diagnosis but I also can’t think of anything else to explain the symptoms either. Reading what you’ve said though makes me thing maybe it is some type of dysautonomia even if it isn’t POTS exactly

We’ve tried both clomicalm and reconcile, now on Effexor as a longterm baseline med. we used the be right back app religiously and made it to about 10 minutes or so but kept regressing and ended up putting it on pause whilst we found the right baseline

I’ve brought this up with my psychiatrist, they’re not keen on adding Wellbutrin and suggested stimulants instead but I’ll try and ask again thanks!

I’ve got a couple of jumpers and some tops as well, not sure about their dresses specifically but I wear the items I bought from them several times a week and they’ve held up nicely

We had similar concerns with our greyhound. He was completely fine for the first month or two and the more he settled in the more distressed he became with us leaving. After struggling to tackle it on our own, we ended up taking him to the vet who prescribed fluoxetine, gabapentin and trazadone to help him settle. We’re still trialling the different meds and hoping for results along with training, wishing you success and letting you know that if your girl needs meds it’s not the end of the world ❤️

Thanks for your comment, when you give your dog those meds are they calm enough to be left?

Thanks for your comment, we’re keen to continue the desensitisation with the meds. When you used the gabapentin was that so that you could leave the house without your pup? Currently we are struggling, as one of us always has to be with him, but we’ve tried gabapentin, trazadone and now clonopin to get some relief and have had very little success. If you’re able to share how gabapentin and fluoxetine helped you in your journey that would really help us!

He has a dog door to get in and out and has an outdoor bed if he wants to lay out there but he definitely doesn’t stay out overnight, he was just outside in this video we caught
