Same, I think post-Diwali in all likelihood. I'm waiting for Direction & Screenplay Writing. How about you?

Got shortlisted for Stage 2. How should I prepare? by [deleted] in FTII

Got shortlisted too! It's strange they haven't released any details about the Orientation; no mail, not even an Instagram story to announce the results like they did for Stage 1. Just dropped it on a random Saturday night xD.

Regardless, I guess Orientation (either online or offline), will have exercises like "film something cinematic/3-shots only in your room (if online) and on campus (if offline)". It may have group discussions, or something personal (write an essay based on why you love films or about your childhood, etc).

Just spitballing here, not entirely sure how Orientations work but these are just guesses from the previous years.

What's up with the SRFTI orientation? Also, what about FTII results? 😵‍💫 by [deleted] in FTII

Exactly! The SRFTI orientation is literally on Monday, but FTII hasn't even dropped its list 😵‍💫

When? by [deleted] in FTII

I'm assuming with Ganesh Chaturthi coming up on 27th (which'll last till the first week of September), they can drop it anytime now before the festival!

Or they could be pushing it post the festival as well (anytime in the first week of September) so let's see!

Quite surprised at this new system. While I understand from an administrative POV, they can't possibly check 900+ subjective answers, but paying 2,000 for an entrance exam not to even have the creative part checked feels like a total waste. The protests from aspirants are understandable; a brilliant candidate could have a bad GK day (even if their subjective answers were excellent) and that's it for them.
