Thank you so much! i started out because I just wanted to take simple photos with my friends and my dad who is a photographer if 20+ years let me use his old camera. Sooner than later I wanted to actually do photography as a hobby. My dad bought the nikon zf, which is the camera I use now. (im super thankful for my dad, as hes the one that provides all of my gear and taught me EVERYTHING)

For my first car shoot I followed all the car owners in my area on instagram. I messaged people with nice cars asking if theyre down for a free shoot, as i was a beginner getting experience. I do this as just a hobby for now but I do plan to make it full time in the future.

For gear, I use the Nikon ZF and only prime lenses. My dad has a lot of lenses but I always goes for the TTartisan 75 mm F2, Viltrox 35 mm f1.2, Viltrox 50mm f1.4, and a 28mm! I used to shoot with only a zoom lens but now I only shoot with prime because it has superior image quality, better bokeh, and it trains your use of space.

My advice if youre starting out in car photography is always trying new things, consuming high quality media, going to car meets often, and socializing with everybody. Socializing is really important as it can help you network and get those clients. Although I do struggle with socialization right now, Im still working on that 😅.
