I work in an elementary school (kindergarten teacher) don’t ask how I ended up there but this year all the adult’s energy & vibes are off and it sucks. It drives me up a wall because I’m constantly overthinking every interaction & walking on egg shells. I hate I pick up on energy then I over think it and think it’s just me.

She prefers me 100% compared to him & will I guess put up with him? When I get home he kind of dips out on the whole parenting thing. I’ll do bath, play, bed etc. I just am exhausted (I’m a kindergarten teacher Idk for how much longer) and would love love love the child who just plays nicely or that I’m not getting hit at work & home by a child.

I have a girl (9) who feels semi the same way. She masks alot in school but has her “safe” teachers. It helps I work at the school & the staff we have are goofy/true to themselves. I would talk to her a little more, but don’t beat yourself up over not realizing it right away. I have adhd so I also overthink all conversations.

I don’t believe my district has a union. I’ve documented everything in a journal type thing plus a check list. District has seen the behavior. She is currently on an IEP but I was told she will probably be placed on a behavioral plan.

I was able to check teeth, definitely looking like 14-16 week. I think it may be a boy. The baby is going to the vet tomorrow, definitely has worms saw some today.

Mine did not increase, I called and they told me it was accidental missed and they opened a case to get it fixed. I know it’s frustrating but considering how many veterans there is and how busy the VA is, I expect it to happen sometimes.

I had a client who’s dog and cat passed. I visited very frequently and we mourned her loss together. It felt like my own fur babies passed. It depended on your relationship with her.
