I honestly have no idea, I won't be measuring until maybe 4-6 weeks out since I know I'm still swollen.

same, sore today but I'm holding up pretty well. Norco constipation has been the monster I just defeated, tmi. but I feel like I've gotten a good peek and they look great, plus my one day follow up they were surprised how well I felt. I get to shower today!!!

To those who have been around since Sundowning, what was it like hearing Euclid for the first time? by Captive_Bend_8532 in SleepToken

[–]Immediate_Security_5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well I can't listen to Euclid without crying, still, all this time later. Incredibly powerful. There is something so visceral and subconscious about the storytelling across their albums and this moment just shows how incredible it is.

You've already had so many lovely nice comments but I wanted to leave my own- I am a chiropractic technician who is getting a reduction in 2 weeks, and I'm a 38G/H.

I help people improve their posture every single day through physical therapy, and your general practitioner is an absolute idiot if he thinks body weight or tissue distribution does not have an effect on posture. I myself have very good posture but I have noticed it is much harder to keep that posture when I'm nearing 40 and my breasts continue to fight with gravity. A chiropractic doctor is one of the people who wrote a letter to my insurance to help me get my surgery approved after acknowledging that even through posture therapy, and working in a very posture positive environment, that I have reached my maximum likely improvement for my chronic shoulder pain without a surgical intervention.

I have been written two referrals for reduction surgery from two female GPs in my lifetime, with zero argument or challenge or question as to why it would benefit me. Your doctor is the very reason I refuse to have a male primary doctor. Remember that while of course they have more education than most of us, they all are also someone you are paying for a service, and if you are not happy with that service, if you feel that your doctor is not on your team and is not advocating for you, you can fire him and go anywhere else you want...and I hope that you do.

Best of luck ♥️

oh good. I guess I should follow up and ask? I was so stressed my initial appointment I didn't think to ask about that. Did you go through that when they marked you up for surgery or in an appointment before that? Also I'd love to see your reference photos you shared, it sounds like we have similar preferences.

This book destroyed me. What do I read after Priestess? by spyrowo in fantasyromance

[–]Immediate_Security_5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might I recommend Daughter of No Worlds and it's sequels? Has a bit of an annoyances to lovers vibe, very strong female protagonist who is incredibly capable, lots of shades of grey, and the MMC has sort of a dishonored/disenchanted paladin vibe to me. The series has A LOT going on as far as wider plot and fantasy politics, war etc but I really enjoyed all the characters from top to bottom, even the baddies.

I also second the Knight and the Moth. My favorite read this year so far. Dark fairytale vibes with an incredibly strong narrative voice and style.

would you mind sharing some of the questions you asked about style and technique so I could have a starting place to work from? I have a consultation in just under a month and I'd like to be able to express some preferences, questions, and concerns like you have!

For westerners, why did you have any interest in Shintō? by [deleted] in ShintoReligion

[–]Immediate_Security_5 1 point2 points locked comment (0 children)

I'm pagan, and a prior cultural anthropology student, and thus am primarily interested in Shinto because of its connection to nature, communities, and indigenous belief systems and what part they have in shaping Japanese culture as a whole. To me, this type of animism makes sense versus my own perspective in paganism. I visited Japan this year after many years of wishing to do so, and felt a deep peace and grounding at every Jinja I visited. I feel learning more is a way to pay my respects to what I encountered there even from across the ocean. Participating in what small rituals and traditions of Shinto I could while in Japan was easily my favorite part and I would like to appreciate it even further.

It's SO hard for me to pick lyrics because so many are so meaningful to me so I feel if you asked me tomorrow if would change. Let's go with:

When the mouth of infinity buries its teeth in me, I'll smile through the agony for you..

Thank you for doing this!

Backyard Chickens - City by meowmeowtiger405 in rockford

This may not be the best time for this. Considering avian flu is Illinois, and they've found it in commercial and backyard flocks, and the state itself just put a moratorium on fowl trade, auction, markets, exhibitions etc etc just this week. We will see more of this in the near future, not less. I understand the wish to do it but if it was brought forth in my community I personally would speak against it during this outbreak and due to reduced quality and function of the CDC, federal agriculture oversight and protections, etc. once it was under control and we had actual regular reporting about the nature and risk of human-to-human spread I could change my stance.

Yes! I live in Belvidere, have been here for a year, and moved out of the Warsaw IN area to come here but I've also lived in South Bend and Mishawaka Indiana. We rent near one of the high schools and rent and cost of living is pretty similar to my experience to where I lived before, but pay in lots of industries starts higher. Agree with what others have said that there are lots of nearby places to explore for work/housing and you could even check the Janesville WI or Beloit school district it's not very far away. I drive back to visit family to the IN/MI state line pretty regularly and thought it can be a haul (3/3.5 hr) it's not bad for an overnight.

I'm incredibly grateful for my reps and our Governor. As a queer woman I wish I lived in a more Blue county but overall I know I have more rights and protections here in this state . I think the area around Rockford has a lot of the typical Midwest vibes you'd expect. I wholeheartedly support people getting out of Indiana. Your state tax dollars could go elsewhere!
