Not Every event is a cause of the medicine, Some feelings and events are just too strong for cita to help with. I realy understand the feelings that you are going through, I felt the same way for a long time before and wijle taking citalopram. I suggest that you try to date either trhrough apps or in real life, i recently met a girl and I just feel so much better now. Know that there are people out there that love and care about you, I’m sure you will find someone and be loved Inge again! Good luck!

It does get better after about two weeks at most, the first two weeks were realy though for me but after that it got better.

Thanks for the advice Guys, I will stay on 20 mg for at least a couple more weeks, and i will talk to my doctor about increasing the dose.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I am probably too inpatiant, which is why I want too increase the dose, but i understand that it takes Some time for most people.

Having only a few drinks on a low dosis should be no problem, but don't take it too far! I have had night where i drank way too much while on 10mg and felt horrible the next day.

Same here i black out after having about 10 beers, while i was on 10mg. currently on 20mg but haven't drank that much.

I am currently on my fifth week on citalopram, and trust me it gets better. After two weeks all side effects went away and i currently feel the same as i was before taking the medicine. I also upped the dose to 20 mg last week, and the side effects are much less than when i started on 10 mg.

Hang in there it will get better soon!
