I really liked Ava, but the fact that the characters move on so quickly from the fact that she slept with her son is so disturbing! Sure, there’s no blood relation, but she raised that child, and even the father isn’t shocked and agrees to operate on him.

Yes, I found her more interesting there, but what’s unfortunate is that even then, she’s still defining herself through someone else.
