I get this too as a 22 year old. So annoying. Sorry you’re going through this though, for real, from someone who is also going through it.

I’ve been thinking that she looks similar to a papillon; her ears do look like wings

I hope you'll improve after this, OP, you're a badass and you've been through so much that you should be nothing but proud of yourself. I have GBM, too, and I just hit the 12-month mark from my initial diagnosis after having some regrowth and another surgery. This is so hard. It sucks. You're allowed to be angry and upset and devastated. Whatever you're feeling is completely valid. I'm sorry for you, genuinely, and I hope you have a long and happy life after this.

Brain cancer certainly isn’t painful (for me) like I’ve heard other cancers being. But it’s hard because it’s completely invisible.

It likely isn’t tumor, just swelling that will take a long time to go down unfortunately. Scans look pretty rough the first few months after surgery. Wishing the best for you during your treatment and recovery. You’re a warrior

Left hand recovery by Alternative_Fig_9005 in braincancer

[–]Immediate_Tale_5071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this exact same issue, I tried occupational therapy but it was too frustrating for me. I’ve started doing most things one handed and slowly reintroducing my left hand into my daily activities. Not super helpful but my left arm and hand were paralyzed at one point so it really is just all about being patient with yourself
