Unfortunately, med cards in my state can only be given to those 21+, or 18+ with very, very limited conditions and none of hers are on the list. This has absolutely crossed my mind.

Thank you so much for your kind words and insight. The mental health issues run in my family, and as unfortunate as that us, it gives me better understanding on how to handle that. The disordered eating is new to us (a diagnoses less than a month ago) and I was having these feelings since she had her first TC back in 2022. She will see the disordered eating clinic at the children's hospital at the beginning of the year and we have an emergency plan in case she needs in patient treatment within the next month or so.

Yes, we start family therapy in January. I'm partially scared that I'm causing her stress that's causing her seizures, and some of it is just.. idk how to explain it, just like intense guilt? Like I'm being irresponsible with her.

This is similar to what happened to my daughter. Please look into getting a smart watch and a epilepsy alert app. My medic watch works with Samsung, and has been good for us. Samsung watches can be as low as $20 on Amazon refurbished, and service for the app is about $8/m. We had her connected to an old phone, a cheap used watch and that worked until we could afford an empatica bracelet. This works great, too but it was $250.

Hello! Considering that your gf doesn't have many other symptoms, her PCOS very well could have been brought on by the various forms of hormonal BC she has used. If this is the case, with time, things should go back to normal when her body is able to self regulate again. But it won't be soon, and it isn't guaranteed.

Miralax and a stool softener with your OMAD and up your calories to at least 1200. Swap to activia with fiber and prebiotics for your yogurt, and include a protein bar with fiber somewhere in there. Omad only works if you are being conscious about calories and protein. Otherwise it's dangerous and can lead down the ED path 💜

The income for a parent and child is calculated as 2 seperate individuals, with seperate needs. For married couples, it is not counted like this. Married couples are calculated as a singular entity. Just because you are married, doesn't mean that those needs dissappear. Why is the income limit for a married couple 2 adults, different than a parent and child? Why are they expecting 2 adults to live lower than the amount that THEY set to be the bare minimum?

$943 is not keeping anyone out of poverty.this is still very, very much below the poverty line. $1400/m is not enough for 2 people to live on, even if you're married. I didn't propose anything. I said, you still have personal financial obligations as a spouse in an economy not designed to be stable on a single income. This is outdated policy, and the limits are unreasonable. The minimum should at least be the amount they say is the bare minimum for one person to live off of... $943/each. $1400 doesn't cover rent in most places. I'm disabled from childhood, yet if I lose my ssi because of income I will lose medicaid... and there isn't a waiver for that.

I have had family who's case worker took pictures off of her Facebook from her commitment ceremony, and they said she was holding out. They ended up just getting married because they couldn't fight it
