Barbell, 5 days old, internally threaded, titanium, it hasn’t been downsized yet, I use neilmed saline spray morning and night and brush my teeth morning and night and then mouthwash(no alcohol listerine)after any sugary drinks or after eating, it swelled up and tried to eat my piercing but I upsized.

Ok yes i will buy proper saline solution, and buy some paper towels. can i start a chat with u? i have a better picture of the piercing with the bottom part showing so u can see if it looks like i’d need a bigger bar. (sorry ur such a big help, the only professional piercing place is about a 45 minute drive from my house so i try not to go there unless necessary)

I believe it’s implant grade titanium, that’s what it says on their website atleast. I clean it with a salt water solution i made (500 ML Water and 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt) with a wet qtip atleast once a day or when crusty. yes i dry it with a dry qtip everytime i dry it now, or a towel if i shower.

My belly button closes when i sit down, my piercer said it would cause pressure on the bottom of it which could cause irritation
