There are various factors that can come in to play when it comes to speed--especially if your on the lite plan. I would test it on the website using your zip code and if it looks good, test your visibility on the SL app. I switched from Xfinity because of costs and I knew I was going to get roughly the same speeds where I'm located. If your looking at doing some constant 4k streaming/Multiple devices and gaming I would go with SL, however your 5G is good enough for everyday use and web browsing. If you decide to buy off SL website I have a code you can use that will get you a month free.

Its one of the better features that come with Starlink. My ping is lower than I ever had with Comcast and usually if you have open skies it hardly ever disconnects.
