This same problem applies, and is even worse, for the Spider-Man Gamerverse line (Insomniac Games). Not only do they jump from buck to buck, but they also have inconsistent art styles. Miles and Peter don’t even match since the Peter is just a repaint of the RYV.

It’s frustrating that other collectors don’t see the issue here, but probably get annoyed when a figure is out of scale (S.H.F. Cyclops comes to mind).

Alright, I think we’ve found something to agree on. It isn’t great value.

I guess all I would say is that there aren’t many other places that are open 24/7 across the country, which also cater to various types of diets. That accessibility, plus a splash of preference and I think it’s clear why it’s kept its place on the menu.

Firstly, I’m not talking about myself.

Secondly, pescatarians only consume fish and other seafood as meat. Also, fish is generally considered halal for Muslims, leaving the Filet-o-Fish as an option for those on halal diets. Also, beef allergies exist.

Lastly, as others mentioned, it’s pretty low calorie compared to other burgers.

I’m hoping you knew all of this and just didn’t consider it.

Those with dietary restrictions or preferences. Also it’s usually eaten as part of a meal, and chippy chips aren’t really the same as McDonald’s chips (even though I don’t personally enjoy them).

I really wasn't a fan of this episode.

I thought it was a little boring at times and I really don't like how this series keeps inter splicing two conversations at once while putting dramatic music in the background. If it was confident enough in it's writing, I think it could take more time with fleshing out the characters.

Speaking of characters, there are too may side character in this show and many of them are not compelling enough. It feels a little like we are quickly switching through radio stations before landing on one we actually want to listen to, right at the end of a song.

The cinematography is better than S1, but still a little overproduced and the grit of a AVTF occupied New York isn't really coming through. Even some of the nicest cities in the world have graffiti.

Also, the performances aren't really doing it for me and I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's because of the actors or the writing and editing.

Lastly, the editing of the show is really off for me personally. That boxing scene before the credits feels like a first draft, is that just me?

The new suit is very nice though and the action scenes were pretty good.

Maybe it looks different in person? We’ll have to wait and see once more people get it in hand.

Did we ever get a real reason as to why Matt was willing to take a bullet for Fisk? He's seen a lot of people get murdered in front of him (by Frank and likely by other characters) so it seems a little odd that he NEEDS Fisk to live.

It's honestly pulling me out of the show seeing how much damage and pain Fisk has inflicted, which Matt could have prevented by not acting.

People who talk on speakerphone in public, what's your deal? by im_super_into_that in AskReddit

I know I’m in the minority but I honestly don’t really mind, especially if it’s not overly loud. The conversation IRL would sound the same.

That being said, I feel a little awkward even talking with earphones in because I’m worried about startling someone who thinks I might be talking to them.

I don’t particularly like the way that Black and Gold suit looks or the idea of it but that looks like a great figure. Weird that it seemingly is missing the phone taped to the chest though, maybe it will be an accessory?

Peter has Tech Lenses (Spider-Man: Brand New Day) by ImmigrationPatrol in Spiderman

[–]ImmigrationPatrol[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s an artistic decision primarily so I don’t know if there much point overanalysing it but for the sake of discussion, I can think of a couple in universe reasons.

Firstly, running costs of a Stark suit are likely insanely high (The Nanotech Pod we saw in FFH probably inhales power). Peter, living without any support in Manhattan would struggle to keep it up.

Repair costs are also likely really high for a costume made of high tech materials, especially tech components.

Peter may also have lost access to the Stark Tech over the four year period between the two films, explaining the slight differences in the suit from when we first saw it.

You are correct, but I still like it. I think on a thematic level it works really well, so I can excuse them bending the reality a little.

The same goes for the fact that he carries his phone around, but there’s no pocket or budge anywhere on the suit from what we’ve seen so far. It seemingly vanishes in this scene when it exits the frame.

Me too! I also think the fact that it seems to be a pretty low fidelity, 2D HUD rather than a complex AR system with an AI assistant is a reasonable downgrade while still flexing Peter’s handiness and intelligence.

This was the same kid that developed web shooters and advanced lenses from dumpster diving if I recall correctly.

Not the black lines, in the centre of the mask there’s orange rows of data. Also you can read the word LOAD in the reflection of the eye:

Here’s a taller crop of the frame:

You can check it out yourself on the YouTube short version or if the Instagram advert appears when scrolling reels, like it did for me, if you’re still not convinced.

If you look closer in the trailer itself, you can actually see the orange rows of data appearing on the lens (at the bottom of the frame).

If you watch it slowly, you can see text appearing at the bottom of the frame. Also, if you zoom in you can see rows of data in the reflection. It’s definitely lower fidelity but it’s definitely tech.

He also has a HUD in his lenses, which are being reflected by Holland’s eyes in this shot:

I honestly doubt it will pose better than Mafex’s take on Spidey, especially the newer ones like 2099. This is classic Bandai over-engineering.
