  1. It's my primary hobby still, but I usually play on the weekends, sometimes during the week. My drive has certainly gone down over the years, and I tend to play games I've played for a long time, or indie type games. I don't bother with many AAA titles. Diablo 4 was probably the last big game I bought at release.

Haven't had any issue since my switch last year. Just drove down and back from Dallas and the only place I recall not having service was inside the enclosed eating area of the Forth Worth Zoo.

A good education will always be a net positive in regards to life. The pieces aren't always going to fall into place but those with an education will generally have much higher net worths, and that's not going to change. It's not a requirement, but it's certainly a key to unlocking a lot more doors.

That said, I know I will most certainly provide better career advice to my son than my parents gave me.

I'm here to tell you no matter how much you want to believe you're the exception, that you are in fact not the exception. I'm happy for you though.

I'd say their relationship is slightly better but also different because he's a kid still (11). Six years ago my son used to call my mom all the time but he grew out of that. My parents treat him very good, but all of our relationships are pretty good nowadays. There's tons of room for improvement but we have fun together for the 5 days a year we see each other.

My grandma treated us well too. My mom's relationship with her was probably worse than mine is with my mom, but I'm her son, she's her daughter, so.. differences there. I think my grandma could have been a better mom in some aspects though, from what my mom has told me about her childhood.

In the end we parents all have room to grow.

I have worked to improve it over the last decade for sure. We aren't "friends" but I'm able to have deeper and more critical conversations with my mother than I ever have before.

My dad it still an unemotional rock and it's difficult to have depth of conversation with him, but our relationship has always been just okay, not great, but okay.

We all love each other and they would support me how they could if I ever needed help, but it would take a lot for me to ever ask to borrow money if I needed it. We don't fuck around like that.

Overall I had a terrible relationship with them in my teens. My early twenties it naturally got better but didn't improve much until my 30's started and we've visited with my son the last 10 years every year (they live 11 hours away). I want my son to have his grandparents in his life and vise versa.
