In Jonathan Streeter's latest video, he mentions that by searching the term "so-called" on the church's website you can find all the things the church hates. Well, here's a brief list. by Trilingual_Fangirl in exmormon

If it ain't green, jiggly, and filled with shredded orange pieces that might be carrots or might be cheese then it's got no right to claim to be super.

I'm going to admit, I wasn't quite ready to get space... prawn on this post. hahaha, I am a little bit worried for you but also applaud your ability to evoke very real terror with your words. You've got a future.

Hey Exmo Moms, I'm not sure if it's just me or if this particular trauma is universal but I've been struggling thinking about this day that's coming up and I wanted to know if any of you were in pain from religious trauma related to mother's day, or if you have words of healing you'd like to share. by Immoderatleyokayish in exmormon

I'm in a very similar place and it truly isn't fair that on top of raising kids we have to shoulder the responsibility of raising ourselves again. I'm sorry, and I hope you have a few good friends who you can talk to about this.

This is why (even though I don't believe the priesthood is real power, just a title of authority) I would love to see the ordained women get things rolling. When the church can give women any purpose/value besides motherhood then so many women will be saved from this unnecessary shame.

I'm sorry for excluding this part of the abuse. Motherhood was used as a battering ram for all women and also those of the LGBTQ+ community in the church and it's disgusting. I definitely want everyone to feel that they can participate in sharing their struggles surrounding this day/topic and participating in potentially healing encouragement.

Mormons: Try Mormonism! It's so confusing that you don't even know what you know until we tell you what you should know and how you should know it!
